How your Solo Queue rank determines your starting rating

5v5 only. In 5v5 inhouse matches your starting MMR is derived from your current Solo Queue rank — so teams are balanced from game one.
For ARAM everyone starts at a fixed 1200 MMR regardless of rank, since Solo Queue performance is less relevant there.
How It's Calculated
Base Tier base MMR (e.g. Gold = 2000, Diamond = 2880)
Division IV = +0   III = +40   II = +80   I = +120
LP bonus Up to +40 MMR at 100 LP  (linear: 50 LP → +20)
Example: Gold II 60 LP → 2000 + 80 + 24 = 2104 MMR
